"Tide"

My work is born from the feeling of being in the midst of uncertainty, from that moment when change envelops us like a tide. I wanted to capture what it feels like to be immersed in the unpredictable, when everything moves around you and there is no fixed path, only the current carrying you. The ocean, with its force and its boundless mystery, became the perfect mirror to explore that idea.

My hope is that whoever looks at it can feel immersed in that sea, in its instability and its depth. That is why I chose to work with texture, adding fabric to the canvas, so that touching the work feels like brushing the waves with your fingers. Water is universal, it connects emotions and senses, and I wanted to translate that in a visual way. I chose the abstract style because it allows each viewer to find their own interpretation, their own journey between shapes and colors. It is my way of inviting them to flow, to imagine, to get lost and find themselves in this ocean.
