"Mother Jungle"

My work is inspired by a tree that I see every day from my studio. It is an imposing and serene being, full of life, that shelters nests and birds among its branches. When I look at it, I can't help but perceive a feminine and protective energy that surrounds me, as if it were a guardian of everything that surrounds it.

I wanted to pay tribute to him, to give shape to that connection I feel with his strength and tenderness.

I hope that whoever looks at this work will be sensitized to the greatness of trees, which for me are the true guardians of life. I chose to represent it as a tree planted on a tapestry of butterflies, with birds fluttering among its branches and with a female figure that symbolizes the union between nature and humanity. I worked with texture and oil, using the imprint of natural leaves, to honor the small details of nature and to remember that, under a strong and tender shelter, the small things also flourish.
