"Blank Canvas"

“Blank Canvas” shows a woman fused with the canvas that surrounds it. In this piece I wanted to convey the feeling that occurs when we reach the sea and we are stripped of everything known, becoming blank canvases ready to be marked by the stories that the ocean writes about our memory. The calm of the figure, together with the fluid environment, suggests how the sea, with its vastness and mystery, leaves deep impressions and transforms our experiences, filling them with new meanings and memories.
