"Guardians of the Nest"

This painting is inspired by the wonderful ability of hummingbirds to pollinate life and be messengers of hope. I saw the gesture of a hummingbird and imagined nature as a guardian protecting them despite their delicate fragility. An incredible strength that comes from the heart.

Inspired by a hummingbird nest I saw in the Mayan jungle, a tribute to these small but powerful family of birds that sustain life in many tender and brave ways.
