Camille Claudell was a sculptor, now recognized as a "Creative Genius" born in France in 1864, unjustly locked up for the last 30 years of her life in a mental asylum, despite the hundreds of letters sent to her family where she expressed the desire for freedom, she died in oblivion and recognized only for the work she did with the sculptor Rodin, leaving aside her extraordinary work that she carried out developing all the processes of sculptural work herself, such as carving marble looking for effects of light and shadow without perfectionist finishes.
